Custom Typography Questionnaire

Thank you for considering BMD to help with your custom typography. We understand this is a long list but please do your best to answer as many of the questions as possible. This will help save you time and money on the project and also help you get an end result that you are very pleased with. Some individuals would feel more comfortable going through these in video chat to help walk through the process. If that is something you are interested in please contact us and we will get something scheduled.

What type/style/classification of font are you interested in? (Serif, Sans Serif, Script, Display, etc…)

Please describe (or show an example of) what you would like to your font to look like:

What are some (minimum of 3) feeling words you would like your font to evoke (happy, angry, corporate, etc...) ?

Are there not standard numbers, symbols, or punctuation you would like included? (examples: fractions, paragraph symbol, interrobang, etc...)

After the font is finished, what type of rights/ownership do you want of the font. Please select one:

Full Exclusivity: You retain all rights to the font to use it however you see fit in perpetuity. (This is the only option that allows resale/wholesale of the font.)
Limited Exclusivity: For a predetermined time, you will have exclusive rights to use the font as you see fit (excluding resale). After the determined time is up, you will continue to be able to use the font, but we may start licensing the font or using it in other work.
No Exclusivity: We will discuss what rights you need for the font before the project starts and you will be able to use it in that way, but we may start licensing the font for others to use at the same time.

Which option you choose will be a large variable in pricing. If we are allowed to license this work to others, we will not have to charge you for the full amount of time it takes us to make the font.
